The Town of Cortlandt is hosting a town-wide celebration for the 250th anniversary of the United States, featuring a photography show and contest for adults and an artwork contest and show for youth. Anyone who lives or works in Cortlandt is invited to participate.

Adult photographers can use a phone or digital camera, and youth participants are invited to submit original art pieces. All entries should focus on local or national historic sites, reenactments, community events, and patriotic scenes. Top selected photographs and artwork will be exhibited at Cortlandt Town Hall or the Cortlandt Youth Center, while all other entries will be displayed on the Town website.
