SENIOR RECREATION LEADER – (FT) Town of Cortlandt

Responsible for the organization & personal leadership of a variety of recreation activities/programs in the Department of Recreation and Conservation. Gives direction & instructions to subordinate level recreation personnel.  Experience/background with running and organizing adult and youth sport leagues, including recruiting and interacting with volunteer coaches and setting up sport practices and game schedules. Experience with the operation of a summer day camp for youth, hiring staff and setting up a camp schedule.   Must be familiar with techniques of planning organization, motivation and promotion of activities. Must be able to maintain records and make reports.  Graduation from a recognized college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, Parks, or Physical Education preferred and/or 4 years of (Fulltime) paid experience as described above.  Salary Range - $66,524-$70,027.  To apply E-mail resume to C.
