Please be advised that a temporary road detour will be in place along Lafayette Avenue between Greenlawn Road and Ridge Road on Thursday July 2, 2026 thru Friday July 10, 2026 during the daytime hours of 7:30 am to 3:00 pm daily. This work is weather dependent and scheduling is subject to change. 

A copy of the detour route is attached for your reference and will also be posted on the Town of Cortlandt website as of Thursday July 2, 2026. We will have similar signage to this.

Residents living within the closed section of the project and affected by the detour will have full access to and from their properties at all times. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the Town of Cortlandt, Department of Environmental Services at 914-737-0100.
