25th anniversary of 9/11

Release Date: September 11, 2026

Today, we remember and honor the memory of those innocent lives we lost on September 11, 2001, from our first and second responders, to the members of the military who answered the call of duty, and from our community. Always in our memories and in our hearts, we remember and honor the victims and their family members.

Every 9/11, the Town of Cortlandt and Villages of Buchanan and Croton-on-Hudson hold a very beautiful and solemn ceremony to honor those we lost tragically that day in our Country and in our community at our Memorial, “Reaching Through the Shadow”.

Join us today at 4:00PM at Croton Landing Park in Croton-on-Hudson.A shuttle van from the Village of Croton will be available in the parking area to transport those who need assistance.
