Travel Advisory:

The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists to expect U.S. Route 6/202 (Bear Mountain Bridge Road) to close in both directions between State Route 9D and U.S. Route 9 in the Town of Cortlandt, Westchester County, between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily beginning Tuesday, August 26, through Thursday, August 28, to facilitate guide rail repairs, weather permitting.

Motorists should follow the posted detour utilizing State Route 9D, State Route 403 and U.S. Route 9.
