The following is an update regarding the remaining power outages on Lockwood Drive.  Con Edison has worked throughout the day to remove sections of the downed tree and rebuild the fallen utility poles and electrical wire.  Con Ed anticipates that the remaining services will back fully restored within a few hours from now (roughly 7 or 8 pm or so).   Lockwood drive will be reopened between MacArthur Blvd and Wheel Dr.  However Lockwood drive west of Wheeler Drive will remained closed as a high voltage primary lines remain live on the ground.  Con Ed will remain on site and will continue repairs west of Wheeler Dr tomorrow.  Please remember to stay clear of any downed wires or infrastructure at all times.
